The final was a themed platter. In the beginning, I was going to do a long plate because I thought it looked better, but after trying to flatten it about 15 times and it was never the right shape, I gave up on that idea. So I switched to a smaller, more traditional style plate, and it turned out great. Once it was dry, I took it out and started painting. I got the front side and flipped over to the back side, and just like that, it broke. I did it again because I liked the shape of the plate, but I left it on the plate out in the open, and when it dried, it cracked. On the third try, it was fine, and I fired it before painting, but once I got done painting, there was no more time to fire ot again for the clear coat. That's why it's pink. My design was supposed to be oranges, but clearly I messed up on the timing. I brought oranges though, sorry. :)
